I had ordered a washer, dryer and dishwasher from Plass appliances in Addison, IL. on the 20th of january, 2010. After completing the sale i was informed of my delivery date on the 29th of january. The evening before my delivery i had uninstalled my appliances so they could haul them away easily. After not hearing from them by 9:30 a.m. on the scheduled delivery morning, I decided to call to see when they would be arriving as I had taken the day off of work to accept delivery. I was told by my salesman that he had just arrived and had found out that my washer and dishwasher were on back order and there would be no delivery today.(good work if you can get it) The funny thing is that I had ordered out of the warehouse and having 10 days until the delivery no one could figure out these were back ordered and at least inform me that my delivery would be postponed. The only resolution they could come to was to substitute a brand I did not want or to cancel the order because they could not offer any compensation as I was getting the unit at cost.(yeah right!) So I wound up cancelling the order and re-installing the old appliances so I could go on with my life and begin the shopping process all over again. What a crappy way to do business. So buyer beware for anyone shopping appliances from PLASS
