A year ago I changed my Brinks alarm system to Platinum Security. I completely explained to them that I may move w/in the year and they explained that would not be a problem. That I could take it w/me...no additional costs, etc. Now I am moving and I called their office to get it hooked up and now it will cost me somewhere betwn 500-1000 for all the additional's they want to add. The sale's person...of course could tell us the system there is not compatible, which I'm sure they will, so they have to charge us more $. WE r locked into a 5 yr contract...which I don't mind...but, I DO mind the lies when the sales' person forgot to tell us about all these extra's. DO NOT SIGN UP W/THEM!!! Every customer should have the right to cancel and agreement, moving or false information.
