I had the same thing happen to me. I was looking for a loan, and was very careful NOT to apply for anything that you were charged for (if I could pay for approval, I wouldn't need the loan!!!). I checked my account today and $49.95 was electronically taken out of my account! I contacted my bank & they gave me the customer service number listed with the transaction. (888-433-4096 if anybody needs it.) They told me that they could not deposit the money back into my account, that they had to mail a check and it could take 6-8 weeks to receive. Now explain how the $ can be withdrawn the same day of the "transaction", but I have to wait up to 2 months to get it back??? That doesn't make any sense. My advise (as I am doing), dispute the transaction with your bank. They will be able to take care of the situation a lot quicker!
