To all the citizens of Canton I would like you all to be aware of a small business retail known as Play N Trade video games. It was recently located in Riverstone, and has since moved to Hickory Flat, most likely due to bad reputation. The business is family run with maybe 1, or 2 additional employee's. I have known about 5 people, who have brought their unwanted games and systems into this place, and have been told to drop it off and come back later. When these people arrived back, they had been told that their merchandise had already been sold and that there is store credit available for them to spend. The consumers did not give permission to do so. And this has happened on 5 separate occasions. What has finally prompted me to speak my mind on here, is that last week I had taken my sons scratched game to be cleaned there.. A service that they guarantee/. When we got home the disc still did not work, so i called up and and was told that i could bring it back but it would be another $5 bucks to run it through again, or they would give me 10% off the same game if they had it in stock?. Does that sound like good business leadership to you? I thought not.. These are just the complaints I have:. I'm sure the list could go on and on with other people who have had an unpleasant experience|. I know it sounds as if I'm ranting, but if you would like to take my advice, just go to Gamestop_and it takes a lot for me to say that because I am not a fan of that chain, . And i apologize to everyone else who has been taken advantage of by doing business with play n trade.
