Iam staying in indonesia past three years, I used to bring some groceries from my mothers house (Urad dal, raw rice, thoor dal, fried gram dal ) this year january 5, 2008 . I brought 5 kg ponni rice from chennai to jakarta for personal use . I was caught hold by the jakarta airport custom duties officer and they fined me
Rp.100000 (Rs.500). In this case is there any suggestion, can i get any authorisation from the department of civi l supplies to bring groceries from India to Jakarta for personal use, I feel iam being cheated ..
