Two Parasites Hiding behind the Flag. Who'da thunk?
Two lazy bums with a very crappy page waving the flag, bumming money and attacking OBITUARIES? Die Upchuck or Merry serve in the Armed forces? How about a page showing there fraudation's books? Donate or you will be investigated? I thought the US allowed us to FACE our accusers. An ex-girlfriend said i claimed to be a SEAL and the race was on. The ONLY way you can get removed from the high and mighty pages? APOLOGY only. If you deny and question, you get an even BIGGER alleged outing. Boy, I hope some reporter does a true and honest assessment of this alleged charity for vets. How about THEIR biographies and resumes? How much time did they spend on the dole? Enquiring minds want to know. OOPS be careful or YOU will be posted....

Scam
The event that started this entire story was when Jere Beery learned he was under unauthorized investigation by Chuck and Mary Schantag of POW Network pownetwork.org. The questionable investigation came about when Diane Weller publicly accused Jere Beery of falsifying his military service record and embellishing his DD214. Gene Simes was also targeted for a similar shake down by the group.
POWNETWORK.ORG (POW Network) are VALOR VULTURES; they exploit the sick, demented desire of many Americans--particularly some veterans who are overly in love with themselves (narcissism)--to find someone "pretending to be a Soldier" to bully and humiliate them without any due process of law--by themselves of course; as a vigilante group--so if no due diligence is done to find the facts and they just happen to falsely accuse a veteran of being "phony", they themselves will not serve prison terms for false accusations. When the Valor Vultures are forced into admitting they are wrong, they take the web page down and never apologize for their disgusting Nazi-like crimes.
Sadly, I am not alone; I know of so far 6 other veterans who have been wrongly defamed by POWNETWORK.ORG (POW Network); one of them, veteran Jere Beery well-intentionally placed his DD-214 report of his military service on the internet hoping to prove his background--only to have it used as a veritable Pandora's Box from which Valor Vultures nit-picked it to try to find offense--and failing that--make-up ones to harp on so they could have a convenient public victim to feed their racket.
They whine about "Stolen Valor"--when this is exactly what they themselves do against actual veterans--particularly vulnerable ones suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) who are not ready to play "Junior Lawyer" in order to defend themselves from their harassment--which is why the Schantags are VALOR VULTURES.
POWNETWORK.ORG (POW Network), a tax-evading, criminal scam corporation run from Skidmore, Missouri by Chuck and Mary Schantag have posted an illegal, defamatory web page accusing me of somehow being a "phony"--which shows they have a reckless disregard for the truth and facts.
In my case, an unbalanced nut job--Sean Patrick Kraft who goes on 66-day hunger strikes and posts videos on how to build illegal machine guns began to cyberstalk me by calling my Air-Mech-Strike: Asymmetric Maneuver Warfare for the 21st Century co-author retired LTC Richard Liebert to try to ascertain my home address.
On May 2nd, one day before the infamous VA laptop was reported stolen; veteran's rights advocates Beery and Simes filed a formal complaint with the Department of Veterans Affair, Office of Inspector General (VAOIG). Beery and Simes suspected Chuck and Mary Schantag, owners on the WWW.POWNETWORK.ORG (POW Network) were illegally accessing their personal information from the VA. Jere Beery provided the VAOIG with emails sent from the Schantags claiming they had 'friends' within the VAOIG that would sift through records and provide them with any information they requested. In one email, associate of the Schantags, Diane 'AKA Gunny Di' Weller claimed the group had already captured Jere Beery's Social Security number. Weller also stated that the official records the Schantags receive would contain all information and that nothing would be blacked out. Publicly, the Schantags stated they receive all of their information through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Privately, they boast they could get any military or VA records on anyone through their friends within the VA. THE VALOR VULTURE SCAM
POWNETWORK.ORG (POW Network) was investigated by Bill English. Apparently, this resulted in his being made a victim of their defamation, stating "POWNETWORK.ORG is a tax-evading, criminal scam corporation run from Skidmore, Missouri by Chuck and Mary Schantag have posted an illegal, defamatory web page accusing me of somehow being a "phony"--which shows they have a reckless disregard for the truth and facts."
Former PI Investigator, David D'Antonio, findings link POW Network to private enterprises that financially benefit from libel and slander of others, who overtly work in concert with POWNETWORK as "one lies the other swears to it." They drive traffic to each other and financially benefit via third party donations, what appears to be an old fashioned shakedown. "My investigation revealed POW was lending credence to defamation of others by notorious troll bridge websites, like bullshido.com, who profit by this" says D'Antonio.
POWNETWORK post what appears to be links to websites where D'Antonio allegedly makes the false allegations about himself. The façade includes what appears to be an admission of guilt by representing D'Antonio apologized when no such apology took place. The links go nowhere.
POWNETWORK are attributing claims to D'Antonio such as he stated he killed 226 men, which he never made. Evidently, intended to defame him and overshadow his findings with regards to POWNETWORK/bullshido.com link a well as force him to comply to buy into MA franchise. Given, D'Antonio is business competitor to patrons of bullshido who financially benefit from defamation of anyone who teaches Ninjutsu. Had D'Antonio payed with his silence as well as became a franchisee he could have the libelous and slanderous allegations about him removed.
Likewise, I, too, have been approached and told if I made payment to an unrelated party the defamation of me would stop, as well.
POWNETWORK.ORG purports I made false claims regarding my military service, which I litigated in actions of libel and slander. The same sources POW Network directs others to were exposed as having no substantiated evidence to support the allegation.
POW's investigator Chuck Hardin who also works for bullshido (before his removal for unethical conduct) was exposed as having engaged in fabricating evidence in order to corrupt testimony available online that directly contradicts the allegations of POWNetwork & bullshido. see: Frank Dux v Bullshido http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkPnvknb1_E
POW certainly posts it is aware of my litigation for libel and slander. Yet, the website directs others to these sources exposed in court proceedings as having made false and inflammatory allegations about me. Their alleged evidence also exposed, as fraudulent on its face.
One of the defendants in my litigation is POWNETWORK associate Larry Bailey, who in his own interrogatories states he could not find evidence to support the claims as being against me on POWNETWORK. The only reason for such inflammatory and false material to be put on the page is to extort money from me as was attempted to others, demonstrative of criminal behavior. In this case it is words on websites not bullets that are the weapons.
It has been suggested such tortuous actions falls within possible RICO action and Gertz v. Robert Welch, Inc., 418 U.S. 323, 339-40 (1974) but the reality is the high cost of protracted litigation and odds of recovery are so slim, all one can do is hope law enforcement get involved and the public be made aware so they are not defrauded by others preying upon their sentiment.
