Hello I just wanted to make it known that if you are a fan of the Steve Harvey Morning show then they could care less about you. I joined the Steve Harvey Fan Club online and was entered into a sweepstakes for one of four signature limited edition Steve Harvey Watches. I was suppose to have won the Gold watch as pictured on his website under jewelry (www.steveharvey.com). I filled out all the appropriate forms including IRS forms stating that I was receiving a prize values at 795.00. The prize came eight or nine weeks later and it was the wrong watch. I called Premiere Radio Networks and spoke the Nicole Ravens assistant who was suppose to be overseeing the prize delivery. I was ignored. I called my attorney three weeks later who sent a letter stating that the affidavit that they sent awarding the prize clearly states that no substitues could be made by either party. I received a call from the watch division spokewoman(Eashina Roman) she apologized for the wrong watch being sent and said that she would send me an email that included a fex-ex account to return the watch and upon receipt the correct one would be sent. I returned the watch and heard nothing. I sent a reply to the email requesting an update. The response I received was an email with pictures of the watch; which had a lizard leather band showing the insides of the band. That is all the email said for your reference. Being as I was the one that sent the watch to them I knew they would find some issue with the return and try to make a case and they did. She said that since I had worn the watch that they could not exchange it for the correct one and they would be sending me back the watch that I just sent in. I sent an email response calling them ghetto and uneducated for wasting my time. They have not sent the wrong watch or the correct watch to date. I filled out IRS forms to show the amount of the prize I would be responsible fo r the taxes on but they thnk they can ignore the IRS as well. I just wanted the correct watch because the one I won did not have a leather band but a gold metal band. I tried to explain the them that if the prize had been a set of tires and I had gone to the shop to have them installed and later discovered that they installed the wrong tires and went back to have them exchanged they are saying that since I drove off with the wrong tires that it is my fault as a fan of the show since I had driven on them. They still didnt get it. Their attorney sent a response to my attorney wanting them to verify receipt of the correct watch which they never sent. I have purchased several Steve Harvey suits and ties in the past. I have his tailored shirts as well but I will never buy any other item. They think that they are gaining by not sending me the watch and are withholding the prize I guess because I called the girl ghetto and uneducated. I dont know if you guys can help get the word out but this is my story. Thanks!
