The recruiters at this particular temporary staffing agency are unprofessional. In all of my years as a human resources and training and development professional (20 plus years), I have never come accross a group of staffing professionals or recruiters as unprofessional as the recruiters at this agency. The recruiters do not take the needs and concerns of their temporary employees seriously. They fail to communicate or follow up with the temporary employees by not returning phone calls or sending written correspondence via mail as promised. The recruiters also have a tendency to rush the employees off the phone or interupt them when they are trying to have an important discussion. The recruiters should realize or already know that wearing jeans to work every day is unacceptable as this is a place of business and not a place to socialize. Professional business attire should be worn at all times. Proteams policies manual also needs to be updated as it is painfully obvious that it is not current. For example, if a temporary employee needs to bring in a doctors note in order to have an absence excused, then the manual needs to explicitly state that and IT DOES NOT ! It is no wonder that 50% of this agency temp employees are discharged. Proteam Staffing or DKS Group will never be another Robert Half or Accountemps. This agency needs to get its act together.
