On 11th April 2010 my elderly mother recieved a text on Sunday night at 8.00pm saying she had won $250, 000 british pounds and to email "[email protected] or to phone england 44 country code. Its a scam... my mother had NOT entered any Nokia competition and she thought it was too good to be true. My Mother does not have a computer so she rang me, and she said it was too costly to phone England - can I please look into it. Vodafone New Zealand should make this public and Nokia should too. Its bad enough they prey on the elderly with the hopes of winning lots of money but they probably do get some people giving away their lifes saving ... Its not fair ...
