worng charges on my credit card
this company is a con.. and so is the place that shipped me "Advanced Wellness Research" . I ordered a free online 14 day trial of pure acia berry which said i would only be charged 4.99 usd for shipping.
Now i see on my credit card that they have wrongfully been charging me since the last couople of weeks twice once for 78.81 and then 83.80 supposedly for pills i have not ordered or they have sent .
when i called the helpline the guy on the phone tells me.. that i have a membership and they are billing me for weekly supplies ??!!! i never authorised them to do this, nor did i regester ewver for a account!!
this is a full con job and i have called my credit card company to dispute the charges...
somebody should have these guys shut down!!! THEY ARE THIEVES!!!

Pure Acai Berry
Beware...this is a scam and should not be allowed to advertised as a popping message on the web. I ordered the Acai berry product because of the 14 day trial period. After I received the product, I took one pill and decided against using it. Within 14 days, I rec'd another order which is around the same time I received my credit card statement and saw that I was charged ..$4.99 +.78.81 + $83.80. I called to get return address and was told they do not take returns nor will they give a refund after the 14 day trial. They did commit to refund me the cost of the 2nd shipment, less the shipping and handling cost. I'm yet to receive the refund!

unauthorized charges
I ordered the free trial, was charged the $4.99 shipping/handling. I call to cancell before the 14 day free trail was up (which according to their website if you called withing the time period you would NOT be charged anthing further.)
Today I receive a package that was supposed to be shipped to someone else. When I call I asked to confirm that nothing else was charged to my account. They show 2 additional charges of $78.99 charged to my account with no additional product being shipped. I asked to speak with a supervisor and, of course, there was no one there, and all other representatives were busy and could not be interrupted. WHAT A RIP OFF!!! The person told me they had so noted that I wanted my account cancelled - but I dont' believe that.
I don't know what else to do at this point other than cancelling my banking account. We are contacting the bank to tell them the charges were not authorized.

I was charged, the 4.99 then 2 weeks later found they took 78.80 out of my checking account. I was not aware of this until I had checks bouncing. I don't appreciate this at all!!!

False charges on Master Card
I am being charged monthly on my credit card, not receiving the product, not wanting the product and frustrated by the company's unwillingness to cancel the charges.

Unauthorized charges
Like many others I did not catch the small print that this company will automatically enroll you in monthly deliveries and debits from the account number you give them. I did catch this as I pressed 'enter', in agreement.
I immediately called back within 5 minutes and asked them to cancel the order which I was told by a foreign speaking person, I couldn't . This conversation went on for about 15 min. She kept telling me to call back after I received the product.
You have to get an RMA# and return these within 14 days of the ORDER DATE, not the date of receipt.
I called again about an hour later and was told by another foreign speaking person their computers were 'down'. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told he was 'out'.
I had a 'gut feeling' this was not a legitimate company and began checking sites for complaints and found HUNDREDS.
* I IMMEDIATELY went down to my bank and closed out my account. My bank said this company has done this to many people and it's hard to get out once you start with them.
DON'T WAIT TO CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT OR TAKE OTHER MEASURES TO STOP THEM!!!
I appreciate everyone who has posted to this site warning others. Thank-you.

Fraud
I too failed for the scam. Like so many others, I feel violated. At the point of ordering the trial there was no indication of a $78.81 charge within 15 days or was there anything in the package to indicate canceling within a certain time frame. I did call and cancel but not before I noted that I was charged $78.81 plus $0.63. I did speak to a representative and asked for money back and I was told that there were terms on the website that indicated that I would be charged. Its funny at legitimate websites the term of agreement are very obvious to you before you sign on the dotted line, not hidden.
As for getting my money I was also told that there was no one there to refund the money. I did not give up and the best I got was a promise of $40 refund which is still left to be seen.
I guess in this day and time you can't trust anyone. Lesson learned

SCAM
The product is crap and the "true" business model is gettin suckers into their monthly ~$90 auto payment subscription. Then they make it very difficult to cancel. STAY AWAY!

stealing money from my bank
WHAT A COWBOY COMPANY THIS IS!! I ORDERED THE ACAI BERRY TRIAL AND DID NOT EVEN TAKE IT BEFORE ANOTHER £57.76 WAS TAKEN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT !! I SAID I WOULD SEND PRODUCT BACK UNUSED AND DEMANDED A REFUND. THEY WOULD NOT DO THIS THEY JUST KEPT SEDING EMAILS TO SAY RINT THEM, I LIVE IN ENGLAND THEY ARE IN MIAMI (I DONT THINK SO)!!!
FINALLY AFTER NUMEROUS EMAILS THEY HAVE AGREED TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION BUT THEY ARE KEEPING THE MONEY THEY HAVE TAKEN!!
NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY ADVANCED WELLNESS RESEARCH, THE PRODUC IS ACAI BERRY !!! IF ONE MORE PERSON SAYS HAVE A NICE DAY I WILL SCREAM!!!
