hughesnet satellite service is slow... had been on the contract for almost two years and have not been satisfied with the speed. paying $70 a mo. for a internet service that sometimes did'nt work during the day or was just too slow, like waiting for internet page to showup for minutes is just painful. FAP is another policy i did;nt understand til aweek after i bought the system. it sucks once you past the thres-hold of 300mb limit.it just slows down to a crawl...living in rural area i had no choice but get hughesnet...other than dail-up which is at time seems faster than hughesnet... gona drop hughesnet after contract ends, hopely will have DSL at that time.
