this copany sold me a brand new air conditioner and system for $5, 000 . They never checked the air duct system out, and the result was it was leaking cold air, they said that it will cost you another $2.000 for fixing the air ducts so i got other companys to come and give me a estimate on the air duct and in the process, the other companies told me that, this air conditioner company does not have a permit or did any of the work up to code. so i called the city on them and they fixed the code violations, and supposedly fix the air duct leaks, but upon the warrenty service call, i was informed that my air ducts are leaking alot of air!!! so apparently they didnt fix the problem, and would not fix it unless i paid another $2, 000. these people should be shut down and not allow to prey on people here in florida, ( where we really need airconditioning. ) i think that the air ducts should be checked out as part of the service, before adding the air conditioning otherwise it all goes out the attic.
