Qwest refuses to refund my $70 deposit after I closed my business land line of 14 years stating that they have no record of my deposit because their records only go back seven years. Even after I send them a copy of my deposit receipt (yes, I saved all my statements and receipts going back 14 years), they refuse... saying that deposits are automatically credit back to accounts after 13 months, yet I send them my statements 13 months out showing no credit or refund. Don't they have the burden of proof to show me when/where my deposit was refunded/credited back to me? Bad business, bad bad business. Unethical. They kiss your butt while a customer trying to upgrade you to new services, but as soon as you leave, their attitude changes and they care less.
