Rain Forest Cafe Reviews

Asked for Rasberry Lemonade
On Friday, June 3, 2011 @ 5:30pm, myself and three of the children I keep walked into the Rain Forest Cafe and when the waitress Mayra came to ask us what we wanted to drink, I asked her if she had Raspberry Lemonade and she said, "Yes". I told her I would like that. She proceeded to make all of our drinks, and in about 15 minutes, after the food arrived I became extremely Ill. The room was spinning and I was breathing really really hard. I tried to tell my 13 year old daughter not to eat the food it was poisoned, but I could not get the words out. I began thinking to myself, this is the funniest tasting Raspberry Lemonade I have ever had. I stirred it and it tasted better, so I drank it because I wanted to wash down the food. I thought the food was making me sick. I told my 13 year old I was feeling bad and getting terrible indigestion. I got ready to tell her to call my husband and tell him I love him and I am not going to make it until the morning, my God-daughters called me while we were there, and I told both of them I am too sick to talk. I can't remember if I called one of them or not, but I know I talked to both of them while I was experiencing this ordeal. I really really felt like I was dying. I asked the waitress for a refill because I was so sick, I needed something to wash the food down. She told me I would have to pay for it, I thougth how odd no refill. When we got the bill, I looked at the cost of the suppose to be Raspberry Lemonade, and almost really died. OMG. $12 . I asked the waitress was it so high because of the souvenir cup and she siad yes. THEN IT IT ME LIKE A TON OF BRICKS. COULD I HAVE DRANK LIQUOR. I told my 13 year old, I think i just drank liquor. I got the menu and OMG I had drank liquor. I have never been in a night club, I married a virgin, I am a church girl and never in my life, have I ever ever ever drank except the two sips of beer my brother gave me when I was 9 years old and it tasted so bad, I throw it up. I called the waitress, and she said, I am so sorry, I will take it off. I told her thank you, I am so sick. She told me to sit down and she would bring me some water. In about 5 minutes, the Manager Aumier came over and asked me if I ordered the drink, I told him I order Raspberry Lemonade. He said, because I drank it, I could not have my money back. I told him as well as the waitress, that I am on very strong medication, and I can not have liquor. I continued to inform him that I was very Ill, but he did not care. He never asked if he could call me a doctor, I told him the room is moving. He just ignored that. I told the waitress I was going to walk around the mall because I felt like if I sat there I was going to die. The word Tuaca Raspberry Lemonade NEVER NEVER came out of my mouth. . I am not happy with Rain Forest Cafe, and I really hate that I will not give them my business again, because the kids really really like going there. After I finally made it home, I called back to Aumier and told him I did not order the liquor, and I could have died from that drink. I called kaiser hospital and they told me to come in, but I had no one to drive me. I was still sick the next two days, and could not go to church that Sunday. Aumier was rude when I called back and told me I had order the drink therefore I had to pay for it. I tried to tell him the words Tuaca never came out of my mouth. I can get you 1000 people who know me and they will tell you I do not drink. I feel Aumier did not handle the situation in a professional way. When I called him back, I told him that I kept telling him how sick I was. He did not care, he was more concerned about not giving me a refund . As a matter of fact, I took my evening pills with that drink. Now why would I want to kill myself. I am a cancer patient and liquor does not agree with me.
