Our recent visit to Rainbow Restaurant on North Elm
Street in Torrington, CT was a very bad experience.
Upon making reservations for six people we were told
there would be no problem. When we arrived at the
restaurant no one knew of a reservation for us. One of
our people was handicapped and we had to wait about 45
minutes to be seated. The seated us at a small booth
which was very uncomfortable. We feel we should have
been told if they were unable to accomadate us. They
did not have the proper amount of wait people and we
waited over an hour for our food. The hostess knew the situation but kept playing games with us. The reason we stayed put and waited is that some of our group was from out of town.
