I have been waiting three weeks for RCN to drop a new cable from the main cable box to my home because I have intermittent phone and Internet service. The technician who placed the work order told me the cable would be installed within five business days. After repeated calls to RCN resulting in promises of escalating the outstanding work order and a phone call back (3 promises of a phone call back), I have not received a call back and the cable has not been installed. RCN has proven to be misleading in how it says it will respond to a service problem. I caution anyone about using RCN. The sales person was great over the phone. The customer support call center is terrible. There is no service reliability, which ultimately is most important.
