subscription payment not applied

I received a notice from Readers Publication Services that my subscription to Country Living Magazine was due to expire in Dec 2007. I mailed a check payable to RPS in the amount of $48.00 to renew my subscription for two years. My check cleared the bank on June 21, 2007 and the money was never forwarded to Country Living.

I have a copy of the cancelled check with the following endorsement:
PAY TO THE ORDER OF BB&T
5238652407
FOR DEPOSIT ONLY
NATIONAL CONCEPTS MARKETING INC
d/b/a READERS PUBLICATION SERVICES

I will be notifying my State Attorney General if this isn't resolved.

Checks has been cashed, publications never received!

I thought I was renewing a magazine subscription for my daughter for Soap Opera Digest because a renewal invoice arrived from Readers publications. My 2 checks for 34.97 each were cashed by Readers Publication Service. Call are unanswered at the Readers Publications office as I try to inquire why SOD has not received my renewal and has not heard of this service. I too, believe that I have been scammed. Is there any recourse for us?
