Many retailers (JCPenney, Herberger's, Kohl's) now price nearly everything on sale all of the time. It must be illegal to say that the item was "previously offered at", or "was", or all of the other terms they use to now offer the item at the "sale" price when it never was priced at the "original" price. So it is in fact not on sale or even reduced so it is a blatant lie. I believe the manufacturers now have different MSRPs for these retailers that use this pricing system and another for those that don't. I for one hate this because I cannot distinquish whether or not it is an actual deal on the item I'm purchasing.
