He takes the money from people and never does any work to get a loan. He is a perfect scam artist. Smooth. Don't ever forward any money to him in advance. Get on a conference call with all lenders to verify approval. Get a letter in writing from the lender for the approval. Any mortage broker that charges upfront fees is not worth their salt. They should be like the rest of us and get paid if they do the job. Also mortgage brokers should have no problems divulging the source of their lenders. If they do, run fast.
