I purchased a $600 commercial vacuum for my home use. The belt has come off so many times I lost count. I have spent over $250 for repairs and tune ups. The two people I have contacted at Riccar tell me they are unable to help me. This vacuum is 6 years old. A salesman told me it should last between 10 and 15 years. Don't believe it. Now the housing is broken and they will not repair it. What a piece of junk.
