Richard J Bourdreau & Associates received a Cease and Desist Order from me in July of 2008 by certified mail. They have began calling again regarding the same account in May of 2009 after receiving this initial letter in July of 2008. Additionally, they spoke to someone other than the Responsible Party about the debt and began harrassing them on an account that did not belong to them. The person explained that they have violated the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act by discussing the account with someone other than the Responsible Party and have violated it by not following the Cease and Desist Order. The employee of Richard J Bourdreau said they have not violated anything because they made a mistake.
