Progressive Business Publications (PBP) called our place of business a few weeks ago insisting we take a look over their email after we told them we were not interested. Finally we told them just to send the email and they told us after we looked it over if we were still not interested to just delete it, which we did. Since then we have received numerous solicitation emails from them advertising for safety equipment (really no different than a Northern Tool magazine, moreso what should really just be a free service) and today we received an invoice for $795.00! We never consented to anything and what made me know this place was a scam was the shear fact there was know contact information on the invoice. For anyone having similar problems with these people, I was able to find a phone# for them through Google and called and one of the options on their automated systems states you can cancel by emailing them at [email protected] for faster service, please include your Account# and Email address they have on file. Not sure if it will work but regardless, they will NOT be paid...no skin of our backs. Screw em'!!!
