We found this to be a very hostile work enviroment full of jealousy & greed. Unsavory cut throat work enviroment. Very nasty facilities located near a druggy homeless area. FCHR complaints were filed; general manager didn't show up at hearings. Had our tack cut & pins pulled from carrige shafts as well as Christmas decorations destroyed by other employees. Company sold out to new people or claims they did but no one really believes this as it has the same people. Many of the employees are homeless or live at St. Francis house. They basically leave all kinds of baggage laying around. When these people want to get rid of you they try to get you arrested even if they make up their stories. Several employees have been acused of things they probably didn't do while we worked here. There are 4-5 people who have been there for a long time but they all must be relatives or something and scared someone else might make a dollar. Although they claimed we were the highest paid employees they had and we always showed up for work; we feel we were discriminated against. Very low wages compared to job duties. Bad working conditions in rain & lightning storms. Working with the horses was great but the management was very poor. We hope the horrible conditions have improved for the employees & the animals. Alot of fighting, yelling & screaming. Some employees sold drugs on the property; and or came in to work on a daily basis unable to walk straight or drive a car let alone a horse carrige. The ones who were GUILTY never got discrimated against. GO FIGURE.
