Auto repairs
This auto service was called out (11/24/10) by AARP Roadside Assistance to give me a jump, but found out it was my fuel pump that had went out. I told them to put a new one in, and he was supposed to have done this, he called and said it was ready and to bring $356.98 with me. $96.00 for labor, $141.24 for & electric fuel pump, $14.74 for a fuel filter, plus a $15.00 shop fee, and $90.00 at $30.00 a day for storage. This all came out to a grand total of $356.98 including taxes. when I got there (12/29/10) my car wouldn't start. So a few days later, after having some disagreement over the phone with him. He said, that he would knock off the stroage fee, and would apply those funds towards the replace of another part which he called a "fuel sensor" which was supposed to cost him about $119.00 roughly. The storage fee came to $90.00, and he said that he would bill me for what ever was leftover, and that I could pay that off in payments, and I agreed to those terms. He was supposed to have gotten the part this morning 12/02/10 and fixed my car and call me to come pick it up. I have not heard from at all today about my car. I thought AARP sent legitimate people out help people needing roadside assistance, but I can't tell and I am very, and I mean very upset with how your company handle's their business transactions!! Can you help me or tell me what to do? Thank you.
