I bought a Samsung 24QP (2 Tonne AC) sometime in June'05. AC Worked properly for 2 years. However since July '07, the following problems have surfaced :

1. No proper Cooling, Compressor would still run even after switching off the AC by remote.

2. Engineer visited and said "Thermostat" needed replacement. AC Service was also advised. Charged Rs.302/-

3. Problem of cooling was not rectified. Second visit by Engineer says capacitor might be faulty. Says AC needs overhauling. Does so. Charged Rs.281/-

4. Fault still there. says compressor pumping seems faulty or pipes might be choked. Gas replacement required. Not Covered by warranty. Unit will be taken to Workshop. Estimated charges Rs.1500/-I agreed. Engineer says team would come And collect the AC.

However, inspite of repeated requests no Samsung Team has arrived.

Decided not to buy Samsung AC for other rooms of the House.
