Bought a Samsung Video camera at Changi Airport on 9th Jan. On it's first use by 17th Jan noted poor picture quality on the LCD panel, battery draining out in 20 mins and camera losing focus when shooting. Read all the instructions in the manual and checked all settings. Problem continues. Went to Samsung Service centre at 20, Toh Guan Road Jurong East and reported. After 2 weeks of checking they reported that all was normal and they could not find any defect in the camera.Went again to the service centre and demonstarted the defects observed .They agreed with the problem and said they would check again. I requested for a full replacement as the camera was only 1 month old. After another 2 weeks of checking i was informed that Samsung had agreed to replace the camera. No further information was provided.Calls to the service helpline were fruitless and no response received. There was no way of contacting the service centre directly.Again visited the service centre personally and was told that they had no idea when the camera would be replaced. It has been close to 2 months now and iam still waiting for the replacement.Needless to say the very occasions for which the camera was bought has long gone. Don't know how many more special days of our family will go unrecorded...Will Samsung bring those back or replace them too...They have lost 1 customer and earned the ill will of atleast a 100 more to whom i have spoken this..
