Horrible Products, Horrible Service
Spent six days trying to get a technician to fix the failed video card in my three-month old 46-inch TV. Have been told at various points: 1) We're waiting to receive the TV (What? I can't ship it. You were supposed to come HERE) 2) We need more information - what information - I don't know, we just need it. 3) Your appointment was rescheduled (what appointment? no one called to MAKE an appointment) 4) Your local (local = 650 miles away) service center will call you as soon as they get the missing information (they will NOT send a tech 650 miles and no one has told us they are missing information)

Every one of them said "We will call in 24 hours" and no one did. When we finally bullied someone into giving us the number to actually call for ourselves, they scheduled They are the worst. Do not EVER buy from them.

Wave GT-S8500 Smart Phone
I bought a Samsung Wave GT-S8500. I love the phone, it's looks and features are awesome. However, I cannot hold a conversation with anyone because it just keeps intermittently cutting out. Both me and the person on the other side hear each other's conversation as if we were rapidly changing stations on a radio. The staff where I bought the phone were extremely helpful but to no avail. They replaced the phone for the same one (I didn't want a different one) three times and also replaced the sim card three times. The quality of the calls had not changed at all. They sent the phone to get it fixed. It came back supposedly fixed but still, same problem. I gave up and now I just have to live with it. I usually have to use my home phone or if I get a call on the Wave, I have to tell the caller to ring a friend's phone or wait until I can ring them from another phone.

Recently I found out an aquaintance of mine had the same phone and same problem. She went through the same scenario as I have. Replacement phone, sim, repairs, etc. She got no satisfaction either. She called Samsung who said they could offer no help.

I phoned Samsung and asked a Tech if it was possible to get the design of the Wave reviewed but he said he didn't think so. So that's it. The very sleek and smart Samsung Wave GT-S8500 is a top phone if you don't use it for phone conversations.

My new Samsung CLP510 color laser printer does not communicate
I have bought a Samsung laser color printer. Within three months I gave this printer to the Samsung Service Centre in Windhoek, Namibia, because the printer did not any longer receive data from the PC.

Two days later I was asked by the service guys to support them with my driver CD, as they weren't in possession of one. Another day later they found out that the USB interface is faulty and they have to order it from South Africa. Now is the day 10 and I'm still waiting for any information about my printer.

That is really frustrating as I need that device urgently for proof prints. I am now seriously considering to buy another HP color laser.

Delivery fuss and bunch of lies
I had purchased a Samsung Refrigerator on 27/12/2009 from SPAR Hypermarket, bannergatta Road ( Bill No.14600) and they were supposed to deliver the same next day.

Surprisingly after two days they are calling me and intimating it will take another weeks time as they have run short of product.

When the customer is about to purchase a product they will shower with lots of lies and afterwords no one bother to fulfill the same and they do not have proper domain (mail id) to take up the issue further.

Will never ever by Samsung product again
I have purchased a surround sound system from samsung with bluray compatible DVD player, one of those where you receive 3 bluray disc as a bonus one being avatar. After removing my current home theatre system and installing the new one it said on the screen that Avatar can not be played due to your system requiring an upgrade, ok then great bran new outdated!!! sat in front of laptop downloading the required file took me almost 30 min place it in my bluray driver only to say not supported. Ok then lets try again take a new CD R disc sat another 30 min to load again only to say not supported! well well this is the very last time i will ever by samsung product even though i have 3 of their HD TV which i love. Will never ever by Samsung product again!

samsung cara GT-s5600
i bought a samsung cara touch screen a year ago, i hav a 2 year manifacturers warrenty, my phone internily works fine, but i am unable to send or recieve calls or texts. this problem is not the fault of my network, signal strengnth, sim card or damage to the phone, it has never been droped or had water or any other mineral spill on it as was asked by the samsung customer service team... i contacted the costomer services at samsung 7 weeks ago... they assured me that they would have a package sent to my home address from fonemenders, that i was to send the phone, along with the battery and a copy of the reciept to phonemenders in the pree paid package that they would send me and would have it back to me in 10 working days, they costomer service was rediculas, it cost me 18 euro the first time i spoke to them as the lady i was speeking to had very poor english and had to spell most words for her to understand what i was saying and visa versa.. and 3 weeks later i still didnt recieve the package, so i rang them back to find out how long more would i be waiting and was told that the account number i was giving them was wrong and that i must be mistaken... this time, i asked to be rang back and when she did ring back she apoligised greatly and said she had found my account and another package would be sent... (again english was very broken and poor, very hard to understand) ... 3 weeks again i waited on this package and still there was no sign of it.. i rang again and demanded to speek to somone compitant enough to deal with my account and the man i was speeking to asked me could he chek my account and "get to the bottom of what the problem was", and if he couldnt figure out what the problem was he would involve his manager, he seemed compitant and spoke fluent english, when he contacted me he asked me to confirm my address and apparently there was a spelling mistake in my address that one of the non-fluent english speekers made while taking my address even tho every word of my address was spelled very slowley and very clearly letter for letter in the way of (a for alpha... b for ball) and still there was a mistake made... he assured me he had rectified this problem and that there would be a package sent out as fast as possible and would be with me, if not the next day then the next working day.. he couldnt appoligise enough as i had been 6 weeks without my phone... i felt confident that the issue had been delt with, a week later, still no package.. what am i to do? i rang again today and was given a name of the person who was over the complaints but yet i couldnt get a contact number or an e-mail address for this person.. its absolutly rediculas...im lost as to were to go from here
