Enjoy, year round deluxe accommodation at Sandy Lane Resort. Our family friendly resort is located in Haliburton Highlands, Ontario, Canada just 24 km north of Minden (2.5 hours north of Toronto). Sandy Lane Resort is located on the beautiful sandy shores of crystal clear Halls Lake. We are 40 minutes south of Algonquin Park, just outside of the Muskokas.

Our cottages at the resort are like mini homes that have basically all the amenities of home, such as satellite television, wood burning fireplaces, air conditioning, queen size beds, large sun decks, propane BBQ's etc. All the cottages have a view of our private beach that walks out gradually into Halls Lake – the lakeside cottage styles are on the lake. Sandy Lane Resort has four different cottage styles to choose from – Lakeside Cottage – Alpine Cottage – Cathedral Cottage – Cabin Cottage.
The resorts spacious banquet hall will suit any wedding or corporate function. The banquet hall is easily accessible, has a full commercial kitchen, central air conditioning, access to high speed WIFI etc.

Sandy Lane Resort has the facilities and a great location to host family vacations, romantic getaways, girls weekends, family reunions, relaxing holidays, snowmobile or atv excursion, weekend or weekday trips, hockey team accommodations, classy country wedding receptions by the lake, and focused corporate gatherings. Our cottage resort is ideal for activities in every season such as snowmobile adventures, hiking, ATV excursions, canoeing, swimming, mountain biking, cross country & downhill skiing, dog sled tours, and so much more to do if you wish.

Need a Break? Enjoy the peace, quiet and tranquility of the Haliburton Highlands amongst the trees, lakes, and wildlife. Relax at one of our sixteen fully equipped cottages by the lake. Enjoy four seasons of rest, relaxation, and activity in the rugged beauty of The Haliburton Highlands. Sandy Lane Resort offers comforts of home, coupled with a beautiful lakeside outdoor setting. Explore the quaint village of Minden, Haliburton, and Dorset. During the summer relax on the beach by the lake, enjoy the view from your sun deck, paddle through calm waters, take out one of our fishing boats, or take a bike ride around Halls Lake. For the kid’s entertainment and your relaxation – there is a children’s recreation program that runs throughout the summer. During the winter glide around our lit outdoor skating rink, snowshoe through the forest, ice fish on Halls Lake or slide down the toboggan run then just bubble away in your own private hot tub "under the stars" (November to May) on Cathedral cottage decks. Our cottage resort is also located on endless land base snowmobile trails for your riding pleasure. We now have discount tickets for Sir Sams down hill skiing, lessons and equipment rental.
