NOT A COMPLAINT!!!!! :)))))))))))))))
Wow! Santander Customer Service Rep-Randall is AMAZING!!! My car loan was also sold to Santander after CitiFinancial Auto sold out. I usually pay my car loan on time but I've been out of work for some time and just couldn't make the payment last month. So, I've had many Customer Service probs with Santander...including rude, insulting, ignorant & harrassing, hang up calls. Then a couple days ago, I decided to call & try to offer up a "good faith" $50 pmt & explain my sitch. That's when I got Randall. Honestly, he was polite, respectful, patient, kind and understanding. He told me I qualified for a 3 month deferral and set it all up! He said to call back & check the next day to verify it was approved so...I DID & IT WAS!!! Just wanted to post this because Randall was possibly the best Customer Service Associate I've ever dealt with at any company and I've been a Customer Service Associate myself for 14 years! ♥

Auto Loan

I CANT BELIEVE THIS May 31, 2011
DOUBLE PAYMENTS
This is a horrible company. I made a payment online and received a phone call from Santander saying they never received a payment online. I gave them my checking acct information and told them to just debit it out 1 payment since I was at work and didnt have access to a computer. 2 days later I looked I noticed in my checking acct there were 2 payments taken out which caused NSF charges for my other withdrawals. I was so upset and when I tried to explain to them of course they said it wasnt their fault. I never received a refund. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with.

Constantly calling stating that i owe more money in which i do not. 37 payments of 37 months so how could i owe any more. The contract was bought out by Santander from Citifinacial without any notification to the customers at all. The contract bought stated payments to start on 3/29/2008, however in several conversations with this company i found out that they had pushed my contract date back to 2/28/2008 which can not be done. I signed a contract stating the date above. I have made my payments however i have been charged late fees before the due date (which was the end of each month) negative credit reports and interest has been added as well. We are now receiving threatening phone calls at work as well as the threat of taking my vechicle. Santander does have a copy of the orginal contract with Citifinancial, in which they constantly are asking if i have one. Of course i do in which i have told them and pointed out everything that is wrong with their collections. They are refusing to correct their mistake and reverse all fees, interest and negative credit reporting. I did not sign a contract with Santander nor did i agree to any of their practices.

the passing of my mother
My mother had a car loan with Santander she had passed away April 18th we told them she had passed they still continue to call several times a day.My mother had given her body to the gift of life they said we won't get death Certificate for another two weeks but santander won't accept that.Everytime I answer the phone or see thier number come up on caller ID it brings back the thought of my mother passing

Payment paid but harrassed about payment
I made a payment through check that as been confirmed by my bank, however the collection company says I have made the payment. The check clearly shows paid on my account.

NOT A COMPLAINT
NOT A COMPLAINT at Santander! It is a company that finances hard to finance people. If you signed the contract, DEAL WITH IT. After a time of GOOD payments, you can go elsewhere and refinance, but don't slam the helper! They were there when you needed them. The arm leg I pay them is MY fault, NOT THEIRS. If your 'iffy' about it, take the bus or save a couple payment amounts and buy something for cash.
There are enough truly crappy companies out there to complain about. To my experience, this is not one of them.

Harrassment
My wife pays our bills. Santander calls her making threats, talking down, and generally harrassing her like she's a piece of trash I called customer service about one such call and was told the person would never call her again. Well, that lasted a month as he called today while she was at work and started again. She's got a 3 year payment history and cause she won't do an over he phone payment this person tries to get her to say she's never going to pay. She's had this loan for 3 years. This isnt the first six months. Santander took over our loan from Citi I believe. They changed the date by 13 days. She still pays before 30 days so it's never techinically late but she pays when she had it set up with the other financing company.

Website-Login Failure
Is there anyone out there that has been successful in logging onto their site? Even when they email me a temorary password it doesn't work. So then we try forgot username...How the heck do we answer a security question when we can't see the question. This has been going on for 8 months now. Irritated.
