The new car from the showroom in Oct 2004 came with a central locking from another company. The dealer told me that it was a special offer from the company. After six months the central locking began giving me trouble. And the dealer is sending me from pillar to post along with the local Wheels Crosslinks who provided the device. Now 2 and a half year later I find out from W.Crosslinks Hyderabad that the product they gave me was one that had been declared obsolete in March 2004 and they conveniently forgot to give me the warranty card! Since I believed it to be company product I did not ask for it as I trusted that it was covered under the Vehicle record.

So even to begin with I was given a dud. I still have a month to fight my case for a new product. Will let you know what happens to help others.
