We purchase a Sanyo DVD rewrite 500 2 years ago. It went into the Sanyo repair shop here in Spain 5 times in 12 months. Eventually we were told the Lazer had gone and we were not guaranteed for a lazer. However they said the Insurance would cover and we would get a new one. They gave us the Sanyo DVD (suppose to be new) not in a box no instructions and the original remote control. For this reason we do not think it is new. However now after 5 months we are going through exactly the same procedure. We try to video for say 1 hour and when come to play back will only play back for 4 minutes. We again took it into Sanyo repair shop and they say nothing is wrong with it!!
