I ordered cable service via the internet. When I set it up I was billed $64.90 on 10/19/09 for a mopdem that was to be sent to me from Offerwire. I was told there was rebate I could apply for once I received the modem. And would have to wait for my 1st invoices from Warner Cable to file the claim.When Warner Cable came to do the install they told me I didn't need the modem from Offerwire and they installed the identical modem that was sent to me by Offerwire. Since I didn't need the modem and didn't want to file for a rebate, as I had no use of the modem sent to me by Offerwire I returned the modem with a copy of the invoice. After a month I called Offerwire and they told me they had no record of a return. I didn't request a signature for the modem I was returning. I already had to pay to return it. Now I am out the $64.90 plus shipping for something I do not have.
