We bought a 42" plasma TV from SEARS for our children's bedroom On January 31,2007 the TV lasted a little over a month, it just quit working! I tried to take the TV back to the store where i was told that i would have to pay a 15% restocking fee
(on a broken TV). Sears then told me to have a tech look at it because if it could not be fixed then I would get a new TV! It took over a month to get my parts and have it serviced. They serviced my TV on 4/12/07 guess what? the TV does not work it needs a new board.

I called Sears back and they told me that they would not replace the tv that all they could do is just service it! So I asked them what if it can not be fixed what about the money I spent for it, they basically said that it was my loss. So here I am stuck with a hunk of junk sitting in my living room, I am so mad and annoyed and could kick myself for purchasing the dumb TV.

I called Phillips on 4/13/07 and asked them a few questions about my problem all i got was well we have to see if a service tech from Phillips will touch the TV after Sears tech touched it.. Will i get my money back or receive a new TV i asked? The answer was NO!!

Please be careful where you spend your money and until this day i will never ever buy another thing from SEARS!!! I feel and do believe me and my kids were robbed of our good hard working money.. What is more disappointing is taking away a gift from your children and not knowing how to replace it or where the money will come from to fix it!!
