I don’t even know where to begin with my story its very heartbreaking. After my beautiful flame point cat passed away (he was 19) over a year later I finally decided it was time for another cat so my husband purchased 2 beautiful kittens for me for Christmas (brother & sister) from this breeder a male seal point for $500.00 and a lilac point for $800.00. I took the kittens to my Vet for a check-up my Vet immediately told me to return them they were underweight and showed other issues, and appeared to be very sick, my Vet told me that these kittens would be very costly in the long run. I knew that the male had very loose stool but I thought perhaps that was due to different home, separation from the litter etc. After being very upset leaving the Vets office my husband and I contact Ashley and faxed her the paperwork from my Vet for her recommendation to return them. She apologized numerous times, gave us a refund and even offered to come to my house in WV to pick them up. My husband and I ended up driving them back to Maryland since I didn’t want to wait for her to make the drive I just wanted to take them back as fast as I could since I was already attached to them. They had been in my home for almost a week. Ashley continued to apologize and asked if she got them up to weight and a release from her Vet would we be willing to buy them back. Of course I wanted them I had them in my home for a week and had already named them. So 4 weeks later we repurchased both kitten since they were up in weight and her Vet released them. I took them back to my Vet and told her I knew she would be mad but we bought them back. She told me no she wasn’t and understood and actually was glad I bought them back since she knew I would give them the best life possible because most probably wouldn’t spend the expense. Needless to say 3 years later and major health problems and thousands of dollars, and a lot of heartache I still continue daily to treat these cats medically and love them both they are so helpless. The male cat was diagnosed with the corona virus and needs antibiotic almost every day and is on a low carb high protein diet and when he was 6 months old he had a $3,000.00 eye operation where he developed an ulcer on his eye do to stress. I did email Ashley as a fyi in regards to the male cat, I didn’t expect to be reimbursed or compensated in anyway. She never even acknowledge my email. Very poor on her part being a breeder and a business owner and claiming to be a cat lover. The female cat has never reached 6lbs her weight runs between 5.1lbs and 5.6lbs and was diagnosed with full blown kidney failure. My Vet referred me to South Paw in Fairfax and once the sonogram was completed it verified that her kidneys never fully developed from birth. She is currently on a kidney cat food, a human prescription for a calcium pill and I give her IV’s twice a week at home. My Vet told me she will be lucky to see 5yrs of age and has no doubt if I wasn’t her owner she would have never been alive to see 3yrs of age. As if the health issues aren’t enough, after multiple phone calls and emails and 3 years later I have never received my papers either and at this point the papers are pointless to me vs all of the health issues these little fur balls have. I guess the good news for you is that your cat is healthy where mine aren’t. I personally feel this place should not be in business,… period
