Yes, I am too a victim of this scam.
They said that I only had to pay the s/h costs. No further obligations.
One month later I got another bottle with capsules and was charged $88.62 plus $5.95 for the s/h.
I had not ordered another bottle or gave them permission to charge my credit card. I called 1 866-938-4832.
After about 5 mintes I had someone on the phone and I complained and told him I would return the bottle. He said I would get my money back but I was not hanging up before I had a confirmation in my Email.
10 minutes later I still had no email. Then he said, you will get an email tomorrow!!!
I asked for a SV...he was in a meeting, I asked for a CEO, he was in a meeting. Needless to say, I got to speak to no one.
I hung up called my Credit Card company and they advised me the cancel my card and get a new number. They told me to send the product back in certified mail. My CC company is going to send me a form I have to fill out and send it back together with a copy of the certification. They will credit me for the S88.62.
What a mess those scammers can put you in. I learned my lesson!!!
I am sure these Acai berry people are not the only ones that "do bussiness" this way.
I wish there was an easy way to stop scammers like these.
