I live in Atlanta, GA. I ordered two restaurant gift certificates from restaurant.com
The first gift certificate I ordered was on June 9, 2009. Subsequently, charges of $14.95 have appeared as "Shopess Plus" on my credit card statements on 7/10/09, 8/9/09, 9/8/09, and 10/8/09. I did some online research today and discovered that these are a result of a scam between shopess plus and restaurant.com
I have been told these charges are going to be removed/reimbursed to me.
This has been a very disturbing experience, and I am appalled that these companies are still apparently in business in light of these fraudulent schemes they are engaging in. It is especially appalling that they are doing this to people right now in this current economic client. They should be ashamed of themselves and apologize to all of the consumers they have defrauded.
