scam my credit card
Out of the clear blue I am charged a 12 dollar fee from shopper discount.com, a service I never signed up for, or used to charge anything on my Discover card. The charge is for a date on which my card was never used.

e-commerce incentive scam
After purchasing flowers from FTD there was an incentive for a discount on my next purchase if I'd complete a survey or provide my contact information. Thinking I'd receive a small discount on my next flower purchase for providing my email address, I was willing. Little did I know I was to be billed monthly $12. So, over three months, I've been billed a total of $36 and received nothing in return.
Clearly, after speaking with a customer service rep, this is a known issue, as a full refund was immediately provided after I exclaimed that every effort would be committed to ensure I receive my money back from their bogus and potentially illegal scam. I'm going to dig-up my receipt to search the fine print, but no way would I have paid $12/month to receive a discount on flower purchases when I spend less than $100-$200 a year on them.
FTD is going to hear about this as well.
If this happens to you: 1. Call 800-889-8776, 2. Select option "3" to "Speak with a rep" and 3. lay into them.
This is bad business and has no place in our marketplace.
Thank you ComplaintsBoard.com for making this forum possible. 2 minutes after discovering this charge I had the knowledge of other people this had happened to through a quick search on a the internet. Now I know the first place to look if ever I believe my interest isn't first in the actions of the businesses I elect to work with.
