1. Bought a iPhone 4 16gb at SingTel com centre on the 28th August. Got the assurance from sales staff that in Singapore drop signal not affected and he even convince me to up my usage plan.

2. Reach home (Woodlands) and charge up the iPhone. Signal drop to 1 bar or 2 bar. Around kitchen area a moment or two no signal at all. Waited for a couple of hours than try the phone.

3. Camera view from portrait to landscape, Auto flash Icon got hidden between switch.

4. Discovering how iPhone not so smartphone.

a) Photo transfer with iTunes to iPhone using Windows PC, photo will not be able to delete. Was told by Reseller that if I am using Mac can delete. Photo taken using iPhone itself can be deleted.

Is there a fine print somewhere written - BEST USE WITH MAC

b) From playlist, cannot simply pick song as ringtone to tag contact or just as ringtone or alarm. Ringtone limit to 40 second, any music file above 40sec iphone will not accept as ringtone even if manage to convert the mp3 file to m4r extension.

5. Brought back to SingTel Com Centre the next day. Manage to fix 3. As for 2 – they said I might have hold it in the wrong way and as for 4a - reply was – “that iPhone”. 4b was only discover later that day.

6. Try calling Apple.com.sg for refund option since Monday, only auto answer. When call Singtel 1688 – was told i can return the phone but I will need to stay on the higher plan when i upgrade when purchasing the iPhone till 2012.

7. SO now die die also must use the phone or just return the phone and still pay the higher plan to SingTel
