This salon illegally deducted wages from my final paycheck after firing me without cause. They reduced my pay rate to my starting pay per hour rate on my final check. When I called them to have the fix what I thought was a simple mistake, they informed me that they reduced my pay on purpose according to what they felt I deserved for my final two weeks of work! Not only is it immoral to put someone out of a job right before the holidays without real cause, but it is ILLEGAL to deduct pay from an employee without their permission or without debts owed to the employer. I will be filing a claim with the state of Ohio and can only hope that justice prevails. If this happens to you, do not sit back and let businesses treat you this way, especially in the economy we are currently in. Most importantly, do not go to Sky Salon in Strongsville, Ohio and support this business.
