I called to inquire about coming in to try out orthopedic pillows and purchase one that suits me. I explained we have a wonderful new mattress but my neck pain started when I switched pillows. I made it very clear I only wanted help picking out an appropriate pillow. The salesman instantly started quizzing me on my mattress (it's a new Sterns and Foster and we couldn't be happier with it). He was trashing my bed that I sleep like a baby in... I was getting annoyed but nicely stated "I'll keep that in mind but I really just need help picking out a contoured pillow for side sleeping".

He then stated my mattress is "the worst mattress in America". I couldn't make that up. I said I find that hard to believe because I've seen some dumpy mattresses out there. He rudely referred to me as "young lady" in a tone that was like a father correcting a child!! I ended this absurd conversation by stating I refused to argue over my mattress when all I want is a pillow and I'll take my business elsewhere.

I was almost in a state of shock after I hung up. I can honestly say he was the worst salesman I've ever dealt with - and I didn't even make it into the store!!!
