In December of 2006, right around Christmas, our sump pump quit and we had about two inches of water in our basement. We hired Snake and Rooter to come out and fix it. As it turns out, the cord to the sump pump had wrapped itself around the pump and prevented it from working. The plumber from Snake & Rooter told us that the pump still worked and mentioned that now would be a good time to replace the pump as you never know when it will go bad. We agreed and paid $371 to have the sump pump replaced.
Fast forward two years, we return home from Christmas to find one inch of water in our basement and the sump pump doewn't work. Snake and Rooter told us there is only a one year warranty on the pump and it would cost us $331, plus tax, to have it replaced.
I am extremely upset because we paid these people to prevent exactly what happened and now they won't stand behind their work or he product they install. My basement is once again ruined.
Never hire Snake and Rooter.
