I saw an ad which proclaimed to be from a woman from Bucksport, Maine, my hometown. It was for a wrinkle treatment. I ordered a "free" sample and authorized a charge of $3.95 on my credit card. When the product arrived, I refused delivery from the mail (I felt that something was fishy). I was led to believe that if the product was returned I would be free of any obligation! My card has subsequently been charged for a month's supply, $74.95, plus a foriegn trans fee of $1.56, which leads me to believe this is not a U. S. company. I have gone on-line and cannot find any way to contact said company. No address or phone number! I shall contact my state's Attorney General and a legal representative for the elderly! Hopefully my posting of this compaint will do some good. I have protested payment with my credit card company, but I probably will end up paying for this to avoid interest charges. Terrible lesson learned!
