The developer (New Bern Riverfront), the management company (Soleil Group), Skysail Condominiums the Project, Judy Hollister(the sales director), and Rod Odonohue (their legal counsel) all failed to mention the difference in square footage. Once confronted about, said too bad, you still need to buy this condo or we are keeping your deposit.

I now have to spend numerous amount of money to hire an attorney to get my deposit back.

If you entered into a contract with Skysail Condominiums or any other Soleil group project, make sure your appraiser measures the square footage instead of relying on their unit plans.
