I made the mistake of buying 3 Sony cameras over the past several years. Currently all three cameras no longer function regardless of their original purchase price / model.

Sony's customer service's response was send them in and pay for repairs. ($177.00 minimum per unit)

To date I have sent each of the camera's in at least one and the most expensive camera 3 times.

After spending more than their original purchase prices on repairs, none of the 3 currently work.

If anyone is thinking of buying a camera, I would strongly recommend purchasing such a product from SONY.

SONY is living off its past reputation of manufacturing high quality products backed up by a solid company. The true definition of a HAS BEEN company.
