Hundreds of people have complained about the cracks on these phones appearind due to poor design. I have had 3 Xperia X1 and 1 X1a and they all had the same crack on the side of the battery cover on the right side of the phone. Hundreds of people have complained in this website and others. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=447211 Is there anything we can do about it? Have them recall the product, or fix it?
