My sony walkman would get detected by my computer, suddenly. i first searched the internet and found this was not a isolated incodent by ANY means. Many Many people have the same problem. I tried sony's trouble shooting, tried talking to a chat represenative to walk me through it. nothing helped so they suggested i fill out a repair form and have it sent in. the first thing i thought of was im going to lose all my music. What other choice did i have ? So i proceed to the repair page and read the information. WHAT ?! I have to pay to ship it in and I am going to be charged a $25 labor fee? Any reputable company has atleast a 1 year full warranty. I have only had this thing for 7 months. What ever happened to standing behind your product ? What ever happened to building products that a company has confidence in putting ATLEAST a 1 year warranty on it because they know they build their products well ? So after i pay for shipping and a "labor fee" they will then determine if I was at fault to make the product not work. Are you kidding me ? Really ?
