I purchased a new 883 Low Rider in February 2006. I subsequently had 3 services done by Clearwater Harley Davidson in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have discovered that during this time my battery was swopped with an older battery. The battery is dated July 2002 and has the marking 'Vic' scratched onto the face of the battery. I doubt this would have been delivered by Harley Davidson Europe to South Africa with an old battery, so I beleive that while my bike has been serviced on these occasions that the battery must have been swopped with an older one. Please let me know what can be done about this.
