Hot Tup cover was a piece of crap. Holes and stables all in it. Pure garbage. Owner is corrupt and will rip you off. BEWARE! Buy anywhere other than Stonewood Manufacturing!

My initial interactions with Stonewood were good, especially in comparison with Hotspring, the spa manufacturer. The ordering form seemed quite thorough and it was not a problem to ship to Hawaii. The color was not quite what I expected, but basically OK. The problem came when I tried to connect the lifter. The screws just pulled out of the foam. I had no idea that metal plates were required. Despite what seemed like a thorough ordering form, there was no option for a lifter connection. How many people have a five-person spa without a lifter? I communicated with Stonewood and got the following reply: "We do not advertise this upgrade because it is extremely rare for a customer to need this." Really??! Fortunately, I had not disposed of the old cover yet and was able to extract the support plates from that one and install them myself on the new cover. But really folks, since you have such a thorough ordering form, why not offer it upfront as an option.
