I purchased a Summit Sheenique No Lye Regular Relaxer from Beauty Max Beauty Supply store on April 08, 2009. I proceeded to get my hair permed that same evening. While my perm was being rinsed out, I noticed that the ink from the bottle of the perm activator was running off of the bottle: one of the signs of a cheap perm.

After my hair was relaxed and styled, a week later after I had washed my hair style out, I noticed that I had a bald spot at the back of my hair on the left side. After this observation and gradually, my edges started thinning out, as well. The hair at the middle of my hair was dead and felt very dry and brittle. My scalp felt dry and in need of water or some form of moisture. Also, after washing my hair, my hair started shedding more than normal when I combed it out. This shedding continued whenever I combed my hair, until I went to my hair dresser to get it cut, recently.
