On July 10, 2008 we bought tickets to tapscon2. When Brent announced his problems and stated he would have a new venue, we were all for it. We figured it would have all the same guests and events, just at a different location and a new date. Then Brent Fair announced his new venue. A few days later it came to my attention that the same guests as promised originally were not on board for the new venue. I emailed him May 17 to ask about this, to this day I have not received a reply. So on May 21 I put in for a refund on the tapscon site. I had no statement that my request had been received so I emailed him again, this time to every e-address I had for him, no reply from that either. Brent, the founder of Odyssey Star Productions has moved from his known address, this was also his business address. Recently, he has changed his tapscon2 page to stress the fact that TAPS is in no way involved with tapscon2, he also states that he will be giving refunds and to be patient. So now I wonder, if he's on the up and up why has he not answered any ones emails?
